About us

Twin Motors was founded in October 2019, and the name has a very special meaning. It was inspired by Jean’s twin children, John and Liz.

Jean started Twin Motors after spending more than two decades experiencing both the independent automotive repair industry and the dealership world. As a Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche Master Technician, Jean has developed extensive knowledge and experience working on European vehicles, while also servicing domestic and Asian makes and models.

At Twin Motors, our philosophy is simple: your money shouldn’t be wasted. We believe in properly diagnosing a vehicle and clearly explaining exactly what is wrong before recommending repairs. We don’t believe in the “let’s start here, and if that doesn’t fix it, we’ll try something else” approach. Our goal is to find the problem, explain it honestly, and fix it correctly.

Jean takes tremendous pride in his work and is committed to doing business with honesty and integrity. Those values have been at the heart of Twin Motors since day one.

Before purchasing Slipstream Auto Care in 2025, Jean worked there as a technician. During that time, he worked for Bill Pichardo, who is now part of Twin Motors’ management team. Jean has always described Bill as one of the most honorable and honest people he has ever worked for in the automotive business.

Today, Jean and the Twin Motors team continue to build the business around those same principles: honest diagnostics, quality workmanship, transparency, and treating every customer’s vehicle—and money—with respect.
